Sometimes, you may need to add information specific to a colorway. In these cases, the fields available in the "Details" tab of your product may not be precise enough, as they apply to the product as a whole without distinguishing between colorways.

To address this, you can create custom colorway fields, which allow you to add information linked to a particular colorway.

Let's first look at how to create colorway fields. Then, I'll show you how to use them in a product.

How to create Colorways fields

You can customize the list of colorways fields from the workspace settings.

(To access the workspace settings, click on the name of your workspace at the top left of your screen, then click on “Workspace Settings”.)

1. In the "Product" section, open the "Colorways Fields" tab.
2. Click on "+ New Field" to create a new colorway field.
3. Click on the three dots to the right of each Colorway Field row to delete or rename them.
4. Use the area with the six dots to the left of the Colorway Field name to rearrange the display order. They will be displayed in the same order in your product.

Several types of colorway fields are available to meet your needs:

• Short Text
• Long Text
• Checkbox
• Listbox
• Date

How to use colorway fields

To edit the colorway fields for a colorway:

1. Go to the "Colorways" tab of a product.
2. You can fill in these fields when creating a new colorway.
3. You can also edit the colorway fields of an existing colorway by opening the colorway's edit side panel.

You'll find the colorway fields at the bottom of the colorway edit/creation side panel.

The completed colorway fields will be visible directly on each colorway.

They are also exported in your tech pack.
