Create an order

The "Orders" tab in your workspace allows you to create, track, and share Purchase Orders (POs) that you send to your suppliers.

To create a new order, click on the "+ New order" button in the "Orders" tab of your workspace.

In the first step of creating your order, you're asked to confirm the PO number. The system automatically suggests a PO number by adding + 1 to the previous PO number. Click on "Continue" in the top right corner of your screen to validate and move to the next step.

The second step is dedicated to adding the products you want to include in this PO.

First, click on "Select Products" to add the first product to your PO.

A search bar will appear, allowing you to select a first product from among the products you've created on Rechain.

Once your first product is added, select the relevant Colorway(s).

You can now:

  1. Indicate the price per piece
  2. Specify the quantities needed for each size
  3. You'll notice that the total amount of your order updates automatically

Once your first colorway is added, you can now:

  1. Click on "Continue" to validate your product list and move to the next step
  2. Click on "Add Products" to add more products to this PO.

Now, you can select the manufacturer to whom you want to send this PO.

Once you've selected your manufacturer, indicate the contact of the manufacturer to whom you want to send this PO, as well as your manufacturer's address. This information is automatically suggested based on the data that has been filled in your manufacturer's profile in Rechain. (Suppliers tab)

Click on "Continue" once you have selected the information.

You now arrive at the summary page, where you can customize additional information.

Once all the information you need is completed, you can click on "Create Order" to confirm the creation of this order.

Once your "Order" is created, you are redirected to this page, where you can:

  1. Share the order with other Rechain users
  2. Send the order directly by email from Rechain to the contact you specified when creating the order
  3. Download the order in Excel format
  4. Split the order into multiple orders
  5. Edit your order information
