Create and manage your Trackers
Trackers are a super powerful tool to create a view of the custom group of product of your choice.
In the first section of this article, we will explore the various options for managing products in a tracker. These options complement each other and can be used simultaneously. Then, in the second section, I'll show you how to customize the layout of your tracker to focus only on the information you need in each situation.
To access your trackers, you just need to open the (1) “Trackers” tab on the left side of your screen. On this page you will see all the trackers available on your workspace.
Click on the (2) “+ New Tracker” button to create a new tracker.
First, name your tracker here (1).
Now, let’s see how to add products to your tracker. If you want to select manually each product to be added to your tracker, click on (2) “Add products”.
Then:
(1) Use the search bar to find your products
(2) Select the products you want to add to your tracker
(3) Click on “Confirm” to save your selection
You can also use filters to decide select the products to be visible in this tracker. Here you can filter the products based on:
The product category
The supplier
Any labels you created to organise your products.
These filters can be used cumulatively; for example, to view T-shirts produced with supplier ABC for the SS24 collection, you can select the following filters:
Category → T-shirt
Supplier → Supplier ABC
Collection → SS24 (Learn more about Labels here)
Once you have finished adjusting your filters, click on the button at the top right. This button will be called “Add tracker” if you are creating a new tracker or “Update tracker” if you are updating an existing tracker.
At any time, you can update the products included in your tracker or rename your tracker using the “Edit” button.
To adjust the product sorting, use the “Sort” button
Several options are available for organizing your tracker:
“No Grouping” → This option will simply display the list of selected products in your tracker.
“Development stage” → this option will group the products based on the development stages assigned to each product. It’s a super useful way to follow the progress of the development of a collection, for example.
“Supplier” → If your tracker includes products from multiple suppliers, this option will group them by supplier.
Then, you have the “View” button, let’s have a look at it!
Here, you can customize:
(1) the properties to be displayed in the columns of your tracker
(2) the label groups to be displayed in the columns of your tracker
(3) The development stages to be displayed in the columns of your tracker, showing the “Target date” saved for each product development stage
(4) Granularity: do you want you tracker to show the products or the variants?
(5) Layout: several options are available here, whether you want to display your tracker as a table or with pictures of your product (list and grid options).
