Creating and Sharing Component Reviews

You can create reviews within your components. This feature allows you to provide feedback on a component sample, such as a lab dip, and share it with your supplier.

How to Create a Component Review

Follow these steps to create a component review:

1. Navigate to the Component Library.
2. Select the component you want to review.

3. Click the four arrows next to the Edit Component title.

4. Go to the Samples tab.
5. Click + New Sample Review.

6. Enter a sample review name. (Mandatory)
7. Select the component development stage. (Optional)
8. Choose the supplier. (Optional)
9. Upload an image if relevant. (Optional)
10. Click + New Review.

11. Once the review is created, you can complete the necessary tabs:

11(A). Samples - Upload an image either from a file or via QR code and use annotation tools to leave comments, mark measurements, freehand draw, and insert lines.

11(B). General Comment - Leave any additional comments related to the review.

11(C). Attachments - Upload any relevant files.

12. Set the review status to one of the following; approved, approved with comments, rejected.

You component review is now complete!

Sharing a Component Review

Once your review is complete, you can share it with your supplier in two ways:

1. Share via Rechain – Click Share to send it directly to a specific user or user group.
2. Share via Link – Click Share Link to copy a direct link and send it to anyone necessary.
