How to Open Rechain Plugin on Illustrator

Once the plugin is installed, open Illustrator and go to "Window" > "Extensions" > "Rechain”

How to Create a Product from Illustrator

To speed up your product creation flow when you're working in Illustrator, there's no need to go back to Rechain to create a new product. You can simply:

1. Click on "New Product"

2. Name your product
3. Assign a Product # to your product (optional)
4. Click on "Create"

Tada! 🥳 Your product is now created and simultaneously available on Rechain.co!

You can now upload your sketches to this new product directly from Illustrator. ⚡️

How to Upload the Main Photo of a Product from Illustrator

1. Click on the "+" icon next to your product's name

2. Click on the sketch of your choice to select it.
3. Click on "Upload Photo".

→ Your sketch is now uploaded to your product.

How to Upload Sketches to a Product from Illustrator

1. Click on “Add Current File”

2. Adjust the list of sketches you want to upload. Click on this icon to exclude a sketch from the upload.
3. Assign a Sketch Group to your sketch.
4. Name your sketch.
5. Click on "Upload sketch(es)" to confirm.

→ Your sketches are now uploaded to your product.

How to Update a Sketch Already Uploaded in a Product

In certain situations, you will surely need to update the version of a sketch, for example, following a design update.

To do this, click on "Update".

Then on this page, you will see the list of all the sketches already uploaded to this product.

1. For each sketch, you can select from the dropdown whether you want to replace the existing sketch or not (ignore).
2. Once you've made your choices, click on "Confirm changes".

How to Upload Sketches to a Review from Illustrator

1. Open the “Reviews” tab
2. Open the review of your choice

Then, click on “Add current Files”

1. Adjust the list of sketches you want to upload. Click on this icon to exclude a sketch from the upload.
2. Click on "Upload Photos(s)" to confirm.

→ Your sketches are now uploaded to your review.
