Product Categories

To easily navigate in your product database, it’s fundamental to keep your products organized. That’s why it’s important to assign a category to each of your product, to organise them by category.

First, we will explain how to create your list of categories and then you will be presented how to assign a category to a product.

Create and manage your list of product categories

Let’s create your first category!

You can customize the list of Product Categories from the workspace settings.

(To access the workspace settings, click on the name of your workspace at the top left of your screen, then click on “Workspace Settings”.)

Now, in the “Product” section, :

Click on “Categories”. You will land on this page.
Then, to create your first category, click on (2) “New category”.

Now, you can:

Fill the name of your category
And save it.

Once your product category is created, you can rename it or delete it using this button.

Assign a category to a product

To assign a category to a product, open the “Details” tab of your product and select the relevant category from the list.

Note that if you create a new product category, you need to assign in the settings the additional product fields assigned to it. If you don't do this, you won't see any additional product fields in the "Details" tab of your product.
