Sketch Groups

To organize the sketches you add to a product, you can link each sketch to a sketch group. You can create a default list of sketch groups in your workspace settings. This will help you maintain consistently organized tech packs, making them easier for your teams and suppliers to read and understand.


(To access the workspace settings, click on the name of your workspace at the top left of your screen, then click on “Workspace Settings”.)



To create and manage your sketch groups:


  1. Go to the "Sketch groups" tab in the "PRODUCT" section of your workspace settings.
  2. Click on "+ New Sketch Group" to create a new sketch group, then name it.
  3. You can reorder your sketches by default using the six dots to the left of each sketch group name.
  4. You can rename or delete a sketch group using the menu next to its name. When deleting a sketch group, all sketches in your products that were linked to this group will automatically be added to a sketch group called "untitled".


By default, the sketch groups in your tech pack will be exported in the same order as they are displayed in the workspace settings.



If you want to add a sketch to a sketch group that isn't part of the default list in your workspace, you can also manually create a new sketch group directly when adding the sketch to your product.
