In Rechain, you can to store the list of your suppliers (manufacturers, component suppliers). Creating a supplier in the supplier database will allow you to, for example:

• Link a component to its supplier
• Link a product to its current manufacturer to then sort your products by manufacturer
• Create Purchase Orders
• …

How to create a new supplier

First, open the (1) supplier database and then click on (2) “+ New Supplier”.

You can now fill out this form. Only the supplier's name is required, all other fields are optional.

Once your supplier is created with this basic information, you can access their profile and complete more advanced information such as:

1. Contacts you have at this supplier
2. The supplier's address(es)
3. Payment terms
4. Certifications

...

On this page, you will also find the list of related products.

In the (5) “Attachments” tab, you have the option to store documents related to this supplier to centralize all information in one place (contracts, certifications, …)
